Brand refresh and website development for leading North East charity

What they asked for

Rise had grown and developed as an organisation - and they wanted a rebrand that better reflected who they are: a dynamic charity dedicated to increasing the health and wellbeing of people in the North East.

They needed a new consistent brand and messaging that spoke to their diverse audiences.

What we did

Working with my design partner SK Design Studio, we kicked things off with a discovery process, speaking to internal teams and partners to get to the heart of what Rise stands for.

From there, I created a clear messaging framework (in plain English, no waffle) to capture their tone of voice, purpose and personality.

My design partner shaped the new visual identity while I made sure the words and visuals told one clear, confident story.

I also led content design for the new website, simplifying structure, writing inclusive content and helping the team focus on what really matters to users.

What we delivered

  • A new visual identity, brand narrative and tone of voice.

  • Brand guidelines and a suite of assets.

  • Guidance and support for staff roll-out and stakeholder launch.

  • Project management of the rebrand from start to finish, keeping everything on track.

  • Project management of the website development from start to finish.
